It is my honor to welcome you to the official website of the Slovenian Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (SLOATCA). Our association is a proud member of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (IFATCA), and we are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in air traffic control.

Our members are highly skilled professionals who work tirelessly to keep our skies safe and our flights on time. They include air traffic controllers, flight data and flight information service officers, and aeronautical information specialists in Slovenia. Their expertise and dedication are the backbone of our aviation system.

As the President of SLOATCA, I am committed to supporting the important work of SLOATCA and its members. Together, we will continue to promote the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and innovation in air traffic control, both here in Slovenia and around the world.

OUR GOAL

Safety

Promote safety of air traffic so that the highest level of safety is attained and maintained at all times in order to prevent air traffic accidents or other unpredictable events.

Encourage the development of air traffic so that the highest level of safety is attained and maintained at all times in order to prevent air traffic accidents or other unpredictable events.

Collaboration

Collaboration with leading organisations and institutions that are professionally connected to the field of air navigation services.

MEMBERS

Members in the Association include Air Traffic Controllers that work in 5 locations in Slovenia. Furthermore, Flight Information Service Officers, Flight Data and Aeronautical Information Specialists are also members of the Association and they all work in Air Traffic Control Center Ljubljana, located right next to international airport Ljubljana (LJU).

As of December 2023 we have 99 members.

By becoming our member you will become a part of a professional association which adressess different aspects of our work. Besides Our Mission we are trying to offer our members other benefits of practical value such as discounted fares or special booking status with airline companies. Furthermore we organise social network events, sport events and other leisure activities.
